Free Produce Market

Summer is the hungriest time of year for families – kids are home and don’t have access to free school meals. Food insecurity is rising across Minnesota, partly because of increased food costs. There is high community interest and support for this program.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer duties include setting up the site, unloading pallets of food, greeting participants, assisting shoppers with bringing food to their vehicles, and cleaning up the site. There is no minimum age requirement, and we can find tasks for people of all abilities. Sign up for the Central High School (NYA) site here and the Bluff Creek Elementary (Chanhassen) site here
