Volunteer at the Free Food Distributions

Volunteer to help at the free food distributions in Chaska and Norwood Young America. Volunteers are needed to pack produce, sort food items, distribute food into vehicles, and more. There are tasks for people of all ages and abilities. Typically distributions are scheduled the second Wednesday of the month in Norwood Young America and the third Thursday of the month in Chaska. Bountiful Basket Food Shelf  

Bountiful Basket Food Shelf manages snack program for all Eastern Carver County School District Schools so students who otherwise would not have access to a snack during the school day. Snack donations are needed, but they must be Smart Snacks approved so they meet nutritional requirements. Purchase approved items directly from their Amazon wish list.

Volunteer opportunities include picking up food donations from local businesses, delivering food and essentials to families, weeding/harvesting food, and more. 

The Humanity Alliance

Volunteer opportunities include preparing meals, delivering meals, picking up food rescue, and more.
